Chad's Triathlete Hummus

Jalapeno Lime Three-pepper Hummus Recipe

  • Soak garbanzo beans for 24 hours
  • Cook garbanzo beans for 2 hours
  • Freeze beans in 200g batches, ready for thawing in the microwave and for the recipe below
  • Blend:
    • 200g garbanzo beans
    • 1 tbsp tahini
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
    • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    • 1 or 2 tbsp fine-chopped pickles jalapeno
    • 1/4-1/2 cup water
    • 2 tbsp pickled jalepeno juice
    • the juice of two limes
